Mouse cursor problem

Just recently purchased the game on Amazon, never played it before. Im having a problem with the mouse cursor, its very twitchy and unresponsive. It only responds when I move it around the screen very fast. It makes clicking on menu items extremely frustrating and time consuming, to the point that I do not even want to try. I have a logitech g700 gaming mouse, and have no problem at all with any other game I have ever played with it.
