Are mansions suppose to cost "Land" money even when building on your own land? Or is this a bug?

You use your personal money to build your mansion and buy the land.

If it is on a piece of land owned by your company, you will have to personally pay your company for the cost of the land.

Ah right. Couldn't remember if mansion were for personal use or for people to rent.
