The problem it solves
On the Bank Headquarters → Loans page, the New Loans Allocation column determines how new lending is split across the five borrower credit ratings — AAA, A, BB, CCC, C — and these must always total 100%.
Previously, adjusting one rating caused the game to automatically rebalance all four others. If you had AAA set exactly where you wanted it, tweaking C could quietly shift AAA again. There was no way to say: “leave this one alone.”
How it works now
Next to each rating’s +/- buttons, you’ll now see a lock icon:
Click the icon to toggle it.
When a rating is locked, adjusting other ratings will never change it.
The game distributes the change only among the unlocked ratings, keeping the total at 100%.
Example
If you want AAA fixed at 40%:
Set AAA to 40%.
Click the padlock next to AAA — it becomes a yellow closed lock.
Adjust A, BB, CCC, or C freely. AAA stays at 40%, and the remaining unlocked ratings absorb the balancing.
Good to know
You can lock multiple ratings. Unlocked ratings share the rebalancing.
A locked rating can still be changed using its own +/- buttons. Locking only prevents side‑effect changes.
If you lock everything except one rating, that last rating cannot be adjusted (there’s nowhere for the balancing to go). The change is blocked to keep the total valid.
The total always remains at 100.00%, exactly as before.
Hover the lock icon in‑game for a quick reminder of its function.
