I am an accountant and I love playing this game, and I was super happy to see that you can export company financials.

The problem I have is that I have to stop and do the export every month to keep track and if I miss a month it feel incomplete.

Can we add an option to select the period to export? When I click export let me choose the starting and ending period. For example
01/01/1990 - 12/31/1995, where it shows the financials for each month. Starting from left to right so as the years go, it can just add on to the right side for the new data.
Maybe eventually adding the ability to analyze and export for individual firms or by firm type etc.

Is there a way we can set up a script to export the monthly data at month end or when the next month begins it exports the previous month/year?

I use AI (Claude) take screenshots of your financial statements paste them in and have it organize it. Probably could make a .csv for you too until they build in robust export functionality.
