[Refined Proposal] Lightweight Post-M&A Asset Management Tools

Updated based on community feedback
Problem
After acquiring a company through M&A, players face tedious work reorganizing overlapping assets like factories, stores, and R&D centers.
This disrupts gameplay flow and feels repetitive rather than strategic.
Realistic Improvements
1. “Filter by Acquired Assets” toggle
Quickly isolate newly acquired factories, R&D centers, and stores in the building lists.
2. Flag duplicate R&D topics
Visually highlight overlapping research projects (e.g. red icon), so players can cancel them manually if needed.
3. Category-based batch demolish button
Let players select and remove multiple buildings by type (factories, R&D) using simple checkboxes and a “demolish selected” option—no UI overhaul required.
Summary
With minimal additions—filters, visual flags, and basic bulk actions—M&A cleanup can become faster and more intuitive without removing depth or control.
Original Proposal (for reference)
Currently, during M&A activities, there are often many overlaps between the acquired company’s assets—such as factories, retail stores, and R&D centers—and the acquiring company’s existing operations. However, manually demolishing or reorganizing these assets one by one is extremely tedious and time-consuming.
To improve convenience, I propose adding new features such as:
The ability to select and demolish all factories at once
Bulk selection and removal of specific business units like retail stores or R&D centers
An option to exclude entire business units and acquire only selected assets such as technologies
These improvements would significantly streamline the post-M&A asset management process, allowing players to focus more on strategic decision-making without undermining the immersive experience of the game.
