Reposting from reddit since i didn't get any reply there and curious to know if there is a solution.
I want to create a game with 2-3 AI OS players to whom i can sell OS utilities but at the start of the game only 1 Player is being created. Ran a simulation for 15 years thinking they may appear after 5-10 years but nope. And only 1 AI has OS expertise despite writing 3 in the script.

I'm using these codes:

Code: Select all

Game Starting Year=1980
Number of AI Persons=120
Number of Competitors=65
Competitor Start-up Capital=Very High

Max AI software and Internet companies=High
Max AI OS companies=3
AI Product Expertise=Operating System, 3

Am i missing any code or the game isnt meant to have more than 1 AI Player.

As far as I know only one AI company will make an operating system and that this is hardcoded at the start of the game. To be honest there should be an opportunity to create more OS companies but currently this is not really possible.

That's a bummer, i was really hoping i missed a code or its a bug. 1 AI OS maker is little overpowered. Any idea what could be the thought behind keeping just 1 OS player while rest of the utilities are flooded?
