A way to increase factory size the same way farms can be expanded. It becomes a pain in the ass when you have a full huge warehouse and still can't meet the demand.
Copy Paste what's inside a retail/factory without having to do it manually. I built a big number of stores but only had enough products to fill one floor. After some time new products were available to me and i had to go store by store expanding it. It's tiring as hell. The only alternative would be demolish all stores and duplicate them all over again. An example would be: Copy Paste all this jewelry store content to all other jewelry stores over the city/world.
QoL for research. You choose what specialization you want (pre-made, like farming) and it automatically hires the people. Use just one click to set up a research or software research without hassle.

I usually play with 50 competitors and multi-floor factories would really help. AI tends to place buildings in a space wasting manner and the city can run out of land. Most importantly it would help with my company organization. Salaries and overhead increase with floors. One can see land costs as a balance issue, but land cost quickly stops being a factor, while micromanagement is a real pain.
