But how is the nation overall performing? GDP growth? per capita?

And if dominating all sectors is easy enough, perhaps try a higher difficulty. It's why I always set at the highest possible difficulty, unless I am testing specific things.
E is for Endear, all cute and cuddly
L is for Luxury, longing for splendid
E is for Elate, making others happy
A is for Amenable, a serene nature
Z is for Zeal, zest for wonderful life
A is for Admirers, all of you love me

ive been in a constant recession? now its flat.

I cant say ive been paying much attention to it but GDP is rising, slowly. per capita income is around 5,800 or so. I'm not really sure how to control investments or spending (Although these are tied to income probably) other than my own, but I am now beginning to focus on getting city competiveness up so the nation can start exporting things.

one city is stuck around 840,000 people with 6.7% unemployment. i've set corp taxes to 0 and havent seen unemployment go down yet. just starting to pay attention now though. So many things to track. i think i understand why CEOs irl work 336 hours per week now.
