Money "lent" by the banks IS money supply, that´s what I meant. I wasn´t talking about money demand vs money supply.
Obviously, demand is always higher...
The game does quite a nice job when it considers the population the providers of money. You "mine" them with your nice consumer products. It doesn´t get into details concerning where the people got that money from... (from a "loan" from the banking sector, ultimately).
That´s quite a good simplification, and I thought the banking DLC would try to fill that gap. I´m waiting for the final release to take a look into it but I´m afraid my wishful thinking won´t get entirely satisfied. Pity me
