As you can see the game has moved to 1976 and no election has triggered.

This is a display bug. We will get it fixed in the next patch.

The attached saved game shows the mayors term issue and the way the AI has spread the buildings across the map.

How did you manage to get the AI to run the new city in the first place? Normally when you build a new city, you will be the one who manages the AI as opposite to the AI.

I just clicked the button to found the city and it picked that person

(the first time I did it, it picked a mayor who wasn't in any party - see the screenshot it picked Arnold but he isn't in any party).

Then it is a bug and we will get it fixed in the next version.

Is it just a display bug ? the election never happens ?

The election should happen 30 years after the term has started as the term is 30 years when you build a new city.

The two city mode buttons still none solid so you can end up clicking whatever is behind them.

I tested this several times by having a building right behind the icon but didn't encounter the problem.

Anybody else encountered this problem?

Using patch 4.2.05. Started a new game (not survival mode). Any difficulty settings causes this. Click OK to the goal dialog at the start, then head into the persons page. Click My Party Only:

I think cantdownloadit probably means when running a game at a faster speed, click the switch to business or government mode buttons, the if I click once it switch to that mode, but due to a little lag at higher speed, sometimes I end up double click that button, and it will be like directly click the buildings behind it. I think it's more of a mouse sensitive, and game lag issue.

its the same solidity bug you previously fixed around the game speed dial and some of the other buttons

I'm having fun playing my first real game (4.2.05 patch) of survival mode, but why is my sinkhole of a city ranked number one? :-\
