Capitalism Lab Dark
==========================

---Overview---

A complete, hand-crafted user interface overhaul designed to reduce eye strain and provide a modern, sleek aesthetic for Capitalism Lab. Every texture and UI element has been meticulously edited in GIMP to ensure a cohesive, professional "Dark Mode" experience.

---Features---

-Full UI Overhaul: All core menus, dialog boxes, and toolbars have been darkened and color-corrected.
-Hand-Crafted: No AI generation was used; every element was manually adjusted for pixel-perfect clarity.
-Eye-Strain Reduction: Optimized color palettes for long-duration simulation sessions.
-Vanilla Friendly: Maintains the original layout and functionality of Capitalism Lab so you don’t have to relearn the interface.

---System Requirements---

- Capitalism Lab v12+ (https://www.capitalismlab.com)
- OS: Windows 7,8,10,11
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- DirectX: v 9.0 or higher

---Installation---

!!ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP!!

-Download the mod files.
-Extract files to your Capitalism Lab installation folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\...).
-Replace files suggested in prompt.
-Launch the game and enjoy the new look!

---Support---

All of my files are in executable format using 7zip so they are just fancy .zip packages.

If you encounter any bugs or missing graphics feel free to reach out to me and I will get the issue taken care of promptly.

Hi Nick, thanks for the dark theme! In appreciation of your contribution, I've set your CapLab forum account to Mod Contributor.

p.s. I have made a small change to your post by removing the programming code formatting from the dark theme download link so that people can click on it to download it directly instead of having to copy and paste, and added the label "Download link:".

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to add a link for a zip package. I touched up a handful of images and I should have a link for the new and final color scheme here soon. Once that file is posted I will only be doing touch ups unless of course something new gets added. I'm also planning to have a GIT page set up here soon but that's another new thing to learn so it's taking me min.

Hi! Your theme is amazing. I'll definitely use it. I'm currently working on my own skin as well, and it is a grungy/sepia one, but I haven't found a way to change the color palletes in the .COL files. Could you give me any tips ?

Hey I was actually just thinking about you. How's it going. If you don't already know yet, I discovered this awesome app called Pure Ref and I never knew these apps existed and It made things so much easier for me. It's like having a desk with a bunch of loose pictures laying on it. You can dump your images into it in such a way that every time you need to go back to it you can just grab the image and throw it in the next program your using.

It can pin on top of other windows you. I snap it to the left of my screen and I can freely pull images in/out of programs I'm using or switching tools. So edit in say gimp, remember you needed a diff program you just slide it off to purref open other app, slide back in. You can add me here and on reddit too if you want. Anywho it's off to bed for me.
