Real World Mod: Logos and Portraits Update

Hello everyone, I'm updating the CEO portraits and company logos for Piermario's Real World mod. It is likely that I won't be publishing it myself, as I'm just going to send the new files to Piermario for them to use if they want.

Before I start changing the image files, I just want to get a read on the room in relation to the CEO portraits.

Somewhere in this post should be a poll for you to vote on if you would rather see the current CEOs of companies (ex: Tim Cook) or founders (ex: Steve Jobs)

Now of course some companies I will put the current CEO anyways just because it makes more sense. An example being Jamie Dimon for JPMorgan Chase & co. I don't think it would make much sense to put J.P. Morgan in the game. But for companies like Apple and Microsoft I would add Steve Jobs and Bill Gates.

I should also mention that I'm only adding logos of companies that are currently feasible in the current version. Companies like Caterpillar won't be added due to their real-life products not being in the game.

I should mention that what I'm working on is purely cosmetic. This update will include no new buildings, internet companies, products or software.
Just new logos and CEO portraits.

I'm currently in college so I can't really make any promises as to when I will finish this project. All I can say is that I will work on it whenever I have time.

UPDATE:

I have made progress in listing out companies and matching their CEO. The longest part was the internet companies, now that I've finished that I expect this to go a lot faster.

After I finish that I will begin the tedious process of downloading and resizing logos and CEO pictures. With the way it's looking right now I can reasonably expect there to be 200+ companies and CEOs on the low end.

I will make another update when I start the image process.

I get the impression that founder CEOs would be more preferable. A lot of the time they are more well known and have greater prestige but there is no reason why both couldn't be added as options (I mean aside from the effort it takes to get all the extra pictures added ).

I think I would limit the founders list at some time in the 1900's. I wouldn't add J.P. Morgan but I would rather have Walt Disney than Michael Eisner or Bob Iger.
