The game launcher in the full version installer v10.0.27 allows you to select the non-SDL version (now called the DirectDraw version). I'd delighted to inform you that the dev team plans to release a Non-SDL version for major releases but it will not be updated as frequently as the SDL version when it comes to minor releases, except bug fixes for non-rare crash bugs.

For example, when the release candidate version 10.0.18 is rolled out as the official release, they will release a Non-SDL version for it.

You should probably let David know what the issue is. They can probably fix it.
