With reference to my previous post :
https://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewt ... 867#p29867 there was a bug in which in a subsidiary you own 75%+ of, when you chose to expand only in Banking, it stays Diversified strategy.
In V6.2.07 supposedly it got fixed, however not only it is not fixed, but rather all the options now are giving a diversified only strategy. (first 4 images) - with the exception of expanding in (Sell tech and/or Telecoms) which shows insurance focused. (last 2 images)

Telecom and Sell tech turns into insurance:
