CapLab version 1.951 patch is now available

CapLab version 1.951 patch is now available. We have changed quite a bit of the code this time, so we are releasing it as a manual patch initially. Here is the direct download link:

http://www.capitalismlab.com/capserver/ ... 511950.zip

To apply the patch, simply unpack it to your Capitalism Lab program folder.

Your Capitalism Lab is located in C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Capitalism Lab Beta, unless you changed the installation folder on the installer.

If it works well, we will release it as an auto patch subsequently.

(Saved games of the previous versions are not compatible with this new version.)

(There is no 1.944, there are too many changes, so we ended up calling it version 1.950)

New Features / Bug Fixes / Changes
Tuned the formulas for simulation the population growth, costs of land plots, and real estate prices.

We have added a new section about real estate bubble on CapLab web site. You may check it out at:

Improved AI stock trading skill.

If AI is going to build apartments or commercial buildings, AI may relocate factories to free up space in CBD to build retail stores.

For challenge games with product goals, sale revenues from warehouses will no longer be added, otherwise it may be added twice with factories and warehouses for a single product.

The Corporate detail report – products also won’t include sales from warehouses. Likewise warehouse sales are excluded from market shares and production domination functions as well.

Increased capacity for Private Labeling Unit

Workers at lvl 9 do not receive any training via either normal training and intensive training

Fixed the following bugs:
I found out that are AI's who are Stock Focused even if i play without a stock market. Tough that AI is pointless

monthly operating expenses from donations aren't being recorded on the income statement.

When I set up a R&D Center, I click on R&D Tech and then choose a product, then I click OK (Discount Megastore is under OK button), it doesn't select the product but it opens up the Discount Megastore window. (In attachments 1. R&D Center., 2. Discount Megastore).

*This also happens with Cancel button and scrollbar buttons (down & up)

Fixed the following bugs:

1. In the difficulty settings menu at beginning there is no description appearing for 'AI friendly merger'.

6. The 'for sale' -button on apartment/commercial building screen can be clicked through sometimes if there is a firm behind the button. I had to move the map over water so the button could be clicked.

Improved:
5. 'Commuting convenience' stays low in office building even if it is almost surrounded with apartment buildings. How much apartments do they need?
