Turns out it was the old saves. I was playing a new game but somehow they interacted - long story short all is well it works!

You may try the latest patch v1.932b and see if it resolves the problem:

Hmm... It still works for me
Did you delete all the old saves and settings after applying the patch? (You need to do this when a new patch is incompatible with an old one)

Manufacturer's Guide Error

After applying the new patch, the Manufacturers Guide does not display the product types for any product class. ie: you click on a product class but nothing shows under product type (see image).
