How best to complete the first mission of the Basic Campaign to dominate the food markets?

I'm Big Fan of Capitalism 2 since i was litle kid therefore i decided to buy it's modern version Capitalism Lab with all 3 DLC minus the Banking one
How best to complete the first mission of the Basic Campaign to dominate the food markets. kind of easy, but it's not like that?
I wonder what is better, build the entire network myself, or maybe go into hostile takeovers?
