Setting: Max allowed firm/buildings per city(per corp?)

In the late game,
the world becomes filled with stuff to the brim.
Beyond the mental overhead of keeping track of stuff, which is extreme - or you just ignore everything, processing seems to suffer.
I offer a simple solution: Add an optional setting to limit the number of firms/buildings per city. this would only be for active buildings (not private homes, but should include housing/offices). And it should exclude city services.
If you consider that unfair, change it into number of buildings per city per corporation (and subsidiaries), weighter with total stuff in the city (not to promote splitting into other companies to overcome the limmit)
- let the player decide what sector(s) she should allocate her cap and focus into.
At the very least, such a very low setting would even be a new way to play, (beyond just easing with the processing)
