I write

Underwriting Profit|
Souscription des bénéfices|

And

Investment Profit|
Profit de l'investissement|

But I would like write "bén" and "inv." next to the yellow and green tokens while keeping the full version above the graph.

I have the same probleme with "Obligations détenues" and "stocks mondiaux" that I need in other places...

In the next version 6.5.15, the programmer will adjust the display coordinates to accommodate text of slightly longer length on those screenshots you posted.

This will be fixed in the next version 6.5.15.
paulwoman wrote: Fri Jul 17, 2020 10:22 pm I wish I could automate the translation of when you run a mod.

In this case, just translate only the "has been loaded successfully" part.

It could write this
realworld.png Or this reaw.png

Same for the "Mod In use"
mod in use.png
mod in use.png
The above text will be added to translate.txt in the next post-release beta version 6.6.0.

My computer doesn't like this game...

I've tested Cap Lab on two of my three computers, and from time to time there are ghost characters with the lines

[3193]<ISBN>%1s issues new bonds, raising %2s.|
[3193]<ISBN>%1s émet de nouvelles obligations, ce qui permet de lever %2s.|

of the T_game
jjj.png
Only one of my computers has a conflict with translate.txt.

So this is what happens when I leave a translate.txt file in the folder alone even with no translation in it.

It is only by removing the translate file that t_game does a good job at this level.

Note that when I restore my computer to the state it was in before the critical update, namely kb45598998, kb4565632 and kb4558997, there is not - yet? - the problem with the sum that doesn't put but BUT the bug I mentioned viewtopic.php?p=33142#p33142 is present.

I just tested it in the way you described above on my computer (translate.txt is empty) and it displayed the French text correctly. Below is the screenshot from my game.

Please try this solution:

"Capitalism Lab uses Unicode for its text files. So after you have opened a text file with NotePad++, you must select “Encoding” – “UTF-8” (without BOM) from the menu. (See below)"

As explained in https://www.capitalismlab.com/resources ... game-text/

Thanks for the advice and for letting me know that the bug does not present itself in your home.

"OmegaT" automatically records in UFT8. So the problem is not there.

I have just done a new game with a "100% clean" computer, with the basic program and I have this part in French as well.

However, I have again from time to time the ghost characters which turn out to be a part of help.txt

IN_SM_OI
Left-click to increase. (hotkey: '+' or '=')

IN_SM_OI
Cliquez sur le bouton gauche pour augmenter. (Touche de raccourci '+' ou '=')

In the graphe2 of the corportate details, we don't see very well the "S" of "Stock" and the "n" of "return".
graphs 2 en.png
I would like to be able to put in different translations than the current ones; as you can see, there are parts that would need to be shortened and others where the full version could be used.
graphs.png
Also, I can't find the lines corresponding to the "ranking" table of t_game.
ranking.png

besides, it would be nice to be able to replace "1st", "2nd", etc by "1er", "2ème", etc and "time" by "fois"

Thanks again for yout work.

It will be changed to "Stock & Bond Return" in v6.6.00.

The altered text "Stock & Bond Return" will allow you to do so.
Also, I can't find the lines corresponding to the "ranking" table of t_game.
The word "Leader" will be repositioned to free up some space for a longer "Rank" word.

Thanks for the update to comes

I was mostly talking about the headings in "description" which I put in red.

Which lines of "t_game" do I need to modify to change them?

For exemple, I have "Cap boursière"

[1828]<0832>Cap. boursière|
[1833]<0837>Cap. boursière|

Do the other language versions have these (like the Chinese or the Japanese versions) ? If so, you could try to locate them in the translate.txt or t_game.txt.
