More control over subsidiary COO

I suggest to add more control over your subsidiary COO, to help him choose products you want to sell as a parent company. Right now we have only 2 options: look for products from own firms, and look for products from all firms.


I was playing as a manufacturer only (disabled building of retail stores in script), and after i got 75% stocks of retail focused company, i have no option to tell them to sell my products. There should be other options to choose from like f.e. look for products to sell from:
- parent comnapny only
- parent company and its subsidaries
- my firm and parent company

There also should be a way to tell them to sell "ONLY" my products or "prefer" to choose my products, but not mandatory.

I actually face a very interesting dilemma that my subsidiary doesn't have a HQ to begin with. In one current test game with 40 AIs, only 4 HQs existed, and one of the HQ is mine, I have to help it build its own HQ. Very strange that the HQ-to-AIs ratio is so low.

Does anyone face similar issue, or I was just unlucky in this particular game?

In latest version 3.0.02, you may now ask your COO to order products from your own firms and your subsidiary's firms.
There is a new option on "From Own and Parent" on the COO Policies menu.
