I am also having problems with GPU utilization. I've tried multiple methods of forcing vsync/FPS limits but the game still pins my 3090Ti at its max power level, causing it to draw 140 watts (and lots of heat) the entire time the game is running. Has anyone found a cause/fix for this?

The latest version 9.1.52 already limits the frame rate to 100. You can use a tool like Fraps.com to check the frame rate of CapLab. If it is shown to be higher than 100 frames per second, please let us know and we will look into it.

The latest version 9.1.52 already limits the frame rate to 100. You can use a tool like Fraps.com to check the frame rate of CapLab. If it is shown to be higher than 100 frames per second, please let us know and we will look into it.
I'm getting 260+ FPS according to fraps on version 9.1.52

As the patch note describes: "When the game speed is not set to the highest setting, the display will be capped at a maximum of 100 frames per second."
May I ask what the game speed your game is set to?

Same problem here, the game heats up my GPU more than most recent 3D AAA games...It didn't happen last I played 3 years ago.
Though it seems to only happen in the main menu or with the pause menu open, during gameplay my GPU usage jumps around 10-40%, although some popup windows ingame also cause 100% GPU usage..
My uneducated guess is that some menu windows and UI elements disable the FPS limiter while they're on-screen.

I've forwarded your message to the programmer and he will fix this in the next patch v9.1.54.
