15 bankrupties and 12 research companies (v1.970)

So i started a custom game 128% difficulty, well underway setting up a frozen meat network.
Got a lot of news popups, but since i was busy i clicked them away without reading them :p

Suddenly i looked at my news and saw an amazing 15 bankrupties in just 4 years.
I went to corporation overview and saw all corporations beside mine having negative profits.
Went further into investigation (since i play with 7 cities and 4 ports per city, so plenty of starting options)

I saw out of the 19 remaining corporations (game couldnt keep up generating new corporations with all those bankrupties :p), 12 only had 1 R&D firm.
I guess something went wrong

Noticed the same thing. In all of the Cap Lab games that I've started since getting Cap Lab, I've never seen this kind of bankruptcy going on with the AI. Now with 1.970 all of a sudden the AI is going bankrupt right and left.

Wondering if maybe this has to do with the new lowered demand maybe.
