Window10 troubleshooting

Hi there,
I'm trying reinstalling my old beloved CapitalismII game on my son's Windows10 PC. Everywhere is said it is compatible, but I can't start it.
I've searched for solutions, also in this forum but I'vnt found answers. The only info was pointing to this thread http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=6 which seems not accessible.
For information: I've tried all compatibility modes (mostly XP pack 3) and resolution at 250.

Any help please?

I managed to get Capitalism II going on Windows 10 after applying the Cap-II patch from http://www.enlight.com/capitalism2/Patch.html (currently 1.14). I did also set compatibility to "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)".
