subsidiary buys land instead of building real estate

i am very much in love with the game, thanks for making it.

However, some in-game tasks are a bit tedious, for example building real estate when it is needed, especially with the city dlc. But when I set up a subsidiary to build real estate for me, they buy up tons of land in one city. I am not sure if they would eventually build something there, but what i would really like is an ai that only builds houses and offices in all cities when there is some demand for it.

Any chance for a solution to that? Thanks in advance!
