Latest updates since v3.5.16
Please see this post for details: http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... f=7&t=3693

v3.5.16 New Feature

Auto Set up Factory Production

In addition to the Layout Plan Library, the game now offers another tool to automate the process of setting up the production layout for your factory.

If the game you are playing is based on a MOD with new products, to use the Layout Plan Library, you will have to manually add the new products first. Now with this new tool, you can set up factory production for any new products from your MOD instantly without any extra work.

Check out this web page about the details of this new feature: http://www.capitalismlab.com/auto-set-u ... ction.html

v3.4.06 New Features:

1) A new set of goals called the “King of Capitalism” goals will be automatically assigned to a custom game if you haven’t assigned any goals manually on the new game setting menu.

It is a set of highly challenging goals. So if the player finds it too difficult, the player may simply disregard it and play the game as a normal open-end game, and it won’t affect the gameplay or penalize the score in any way.

2) You may now manually select product classes to disable on the new game setting menu, under the “Products” page.

Improvements:
Improved the performance of the Firms report when there is a large number of firms in the game.

When you hover the mouse over the “?” buttons, it will display the help message regardless of the Help setting on the option menu.

Gameplay balance tuning
Decreased the salaries of executive officers by half.

The maximum training cost is now set to 50% of the salary. (When the training vertical bar is completely full.)

MOD support:

Supporting MOD version in MOD header file.

http://www.capitalismlab.com/how-to-make-a-mod.html

The MOD text file should be formatted like this:

[MOD]

Title=<The MOD title>

Version=<The version of the MOD>

Description=<the description text>

Author=<The author of this MOD>

The following are optional lines:
Add Seaport Product=<Product Type>
(Supported in version 3.1.00 or later. You may assign multiple products using the same syntax, like the below example. )

Maximum Product Price=<a value between 20000 and 100000>
(Supported in version 3.1.02 or later. If you intend to create a MOD containing products with standard prices higher than $20000, then you will have to use this statement to set the maximum product price allowed in the game to a value higher than $20000.)

Example:

[MOD]

Title=My Capitalism Lab MOD

Version=2.5

Description=This is my first MOD for Capitalism Lab

Author=Capitalism Person

Add Seaport Product=Steel
Add Seaport Product=Plastic

Maximum Product Price=50000

Script Enhancement
A new special game rule for script files – Unlimited Natural Resources

http://www.capitalismlab.com/script---s ... rules.html

Unlimited Natural Resources=<Yes,No>

If you set this to Yes, when a natural resource firm (mine/oil well/logging camp) has used up its reserve, instead of stopping its operation, it will continue to produce the natural resources with a new recurring cost.

The recurring cost of producing a single unit of the natural resource will equal to the original cost of acquiring natural resource site, divided by the original reserve amount, and adjusted for the current inflation.

I can't confirm this. Just downloaded again and experienced the same problem.

Also there seems to be a problem with the installer/uninstaller:
- It removes the version info from the control panel / programs list
- it leaves 204MB with 5281 files in the 'Capitalism Lab' install directory (in a subfolder "EXE")

I have to manually remove that.
