how this inflation and GDP is calculated in the game?
are these are some randomly generated numbers? or is there any formula?

From what I observed, inflation rate in current version (release 2.6.xx) is very closely related to and affected by (central bank) loan interest rate. And interest rate itself going up and down depend on central bank policies, which in itself is some sort of step functions trending toward certain direction till reach a specific economic status. (this may soon change with banking mechanism added in the future)

As for GDP, I believe it's using some sort of expenditure approach to calculate based on consumptions (at least planned to). And its the GDP growth rate that is effected by many other factors.
