the game becomes really slow when the games advances and i got more company's.
about 71 farms, 490 R&D, 811 residential and commercial buildings, 46 natural recourse firms, 220 factory's and 400 shops. (15 cities)
every day of the games takes 12 seconds to the next day at full game speed. (20 competitors have also different buildings).

Actually we do not recommend having as many as 15 cities as they will inevitably slow down the game.
I trust that you are aware that on the new game setting menu, only a maximum of 7 cities is allowed. In fact, the ideal number of cities for the game to perform reasonably well is 7 or fewer cities.
